Dr. Harris received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Historical Black Colleges and Universities Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP) to enhance mathematics learning experiences. She has implemented three evidence-based learning instructions: web-based learning, Julia coding, and peer-led team learning (PLTL). She created Calculus learning materials using Julia coding. Her Calculus students understood the materials better and also retained the knowledge longer, so her Calculus class’ passing rate improved noticeably. Dr. Harris freely shares her created Calculus Julia coding lessons here for anyone or any institution to use. Please contact her if you have any questions or suggestions.

Resources
In this section, you'll find Dr. Harris’s recorded video lectures from her Calculus classes. These sessions were captured live during instruction, so they are not edited or tailored to individual topics. They provide an authentic classroom experience and insight into how Calculus is taught in real time.
Calculus I + Julia Coding
In this section, Dr. Harris used Julia within Jupyter Notebooks to teach Calculus concepts. Students enjoyed working with Julia because it allowed them to visualize their work and write code to solve problems numerically. Dr. Harris introduced several innovative methods to enrich the learning experience, and integrating Julia coding proved to be one of the most effective.
Calculus II + Julia Coding
In this section, Dr. Harris and her colleague, Mr. Abedi, have curated a collection of valuable Calculus materials from across the internet. It includes a variety of helpful YouTube videos and websites to support students in their learning journey.
